| WODONGA HOMESTEAD One of the oldest surviving pioneer homes in the district, Wodonga Homestead is now located on the grounds of the Widgee Hall and Recreation Grounds. Built mostly of local timber and constructed close to the ground, the bearers of the homestead were made from ironbark logs, which had been dressed on top with a broad axe.
The homestead can be viewed by phoning Margaret Fittler on 54840420. |
